ray of sunlight
on a gloomy day
deep into the fall
you raise your head
blessing us
with your healing power
Flowers continue to bloom
slowly fading
to be replaced by more
Calendula
I love seeing your sunny face
as I look into an otherwise gray world
leaves are gone
leaving a stark landscape
herbs are ragged
hanging in desolation
but you keep blooming
some years all winter long
Thank you for your blessing on this garden
and your light in this day
reminding me
there is always a bright spot
if I open myself to possibility
